This Officially Licensed NHL Los Angeles Kings Mitchell & Ness Authentic 1992-93 black jersey has been Personally Signed by Wayne Gretzky. The jersey name and numbers have been professionally sewn on. This collectible comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity & Tamper-Proof Hologram.
The NHL® had each player wear a patch on their jersey throughout the 1992-93 season to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Stanley Cup®. The Canadiens won their 24th Stanley Cup® championship in the 1993 series against the Los Angeles Kings. Despite the loss in the finals, it was an exciting time in Los Angeles with the star, Wayne Gretzky, joining the team after a successful campaign in Edmonton to bring the Kings to their first Stanley Cup® Final appearance. In game 1 of the finals, the Kings traveled to Montreal and beat the Canadiens, 4-1, with goals from Luc Robitaille, Jari Kurri and Gretzky.
